Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Required to work every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

The Pediatric Infusion RN will provide essential nursing care for pediatric patients undergoing infusion therapy. This role involves administering and monitoring chemotherapy and other treatments, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other infusion therapies.
• Perform phlebotomy and manage central lines, A-lines, and PICC lines.
• Conduct pediatric early warning scoring (PEWS) and rapid response assessments.
• Provide wound care and symptom management for patients.
• Assist with procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.
• Float to Peds, Adolescent, and PICU Stepdown units as needed based on skillset.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology (inpatient or outpatient experience accepted).
• Active RN license in New Jersey or Compact license required.
• Certifications: APHON, BLS, and PALS required at the time of submission.
• Experience with EPIC and pediatric dosage calculations preferred.
