NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift, Night Shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NICU Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with prior NICU experience to join our busy healthcare facility. The ideal candidate must possess strong clinical skills and demonstrate proficiency in providing respiratory care to neonatal patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy assessments and interventions for NICU patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies.
• Monitor patient status, document changes, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for respiratory therapy needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT credential.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• PA fingerprints and child abuse clearances.
• Current certifications in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Previous NICU experience is mandatory.
