Acute Care Physical Therapist - Day Shift

Schedule

Day 5x8-Hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00). No weekends or on-call required.

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will provide direct patient care, focusing on patient assessments, treatment plans, and rehabilitation interventions. The role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving patient mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
