CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 4x10-Hour Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with 2 weekend shifts (12 hours) and 2 daytime (8 hours) shifts.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging examinations using computed tomography (CT) technology. Responsibilities include operating CT machinery, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and assist radiologists with imaging procedures.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and monitor patient well-being during scans.
• Administer contrast media to patients as per protocol.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT imaging.
• Current ARRT (R) (CT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with various imaging systems (E.g. GE, Philips, Siemens).
• Experience with charting systems.
