Physical Therapist Position

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; 40 hours scheduled with 32 hours guaranteed. Floating between a Level I Trauma 600+ bed hospital and a Level III 200+ bed hospital. Days of the week may vary and include weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and will possess a strong background in acute hospital settings, with multi-specialty acute knowledge preferred. Candidates must be prepared to float between facilities and adapt to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluations, treatment plans, and therapy interventions for patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 24 months of Physical Therapy experience with recent experience in the last 12 months.
• Active Physical Therapist license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Life support certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
