CT Tech - Acute Care Hospital

Mid 5x8-Hour Shift (15:00 - 23:30) with rotating weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech for an acute care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality care. The role involves collaborating with medical staff to provide accurate diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures as requested.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety protocols.
• Administer contrast media when necessary.
• Maintain equipment and assist in minimizing radiation exposure.
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic health record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Tech.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required.
• BLS and venipuncture certificates are mandatory.
• Fluoroscopy permit is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
