CT Technologist - Outpatient Focus

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (09:00 - 21:30)

Schedule: Every Other Saturday, Sunday 0900-2130; Every Wednesday, Thursday 0900-2130.

Job Description

The CT Technologist participates in assigned tasks related to Imaging technology and performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner, following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on outpatient care.
• Utilize GE and Toshiba/Canon machines effectively.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety and departmental policies.
• Maintain patient care standards throughout imaging processes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have outpatient experience and IV skills.
• Licensure by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography (pending okay).
• ARRT Registered in Radiography and CT.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
