Schedule

3x12 hour shifts, with weekends as needed. Shift times are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg unit. This role is focused on providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population including geriatric and adult patients, with occasional pediatric cases. The ideal candidate should be flexible, willing to assist wherever needed, and have a strong background in nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a Med/Surg setting.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health records (EHR), specifically Cerner.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Prior experience with telemetry is preferred.
