Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Step Down/Med Surg unit. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients, utilizing advanced clinical skills and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and a high level of clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Perform trach care and manage chest tubes.
• Conduct wound dressing changes and monitor patient status.
• Administer medications and initiate cardiac drips as prescribed.
• Provide care for stable vented patients and manage trach patients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a minimum of 2 years nursing experience.
• Experience working with trachs is essential.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Previous experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
