Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with no call and no floating required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients during their emergency care journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide total patient care in the Emergency Department
• Maintain patient ratio of 4:1
• Utilize EMR system (Cerner) for patient documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and practices

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required before start
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required within 90 days of start
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
