Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Schedule

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM)

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will provide evaluation, treatment planning, and interventions for patients. Therapists will typically see an average of 10 patients per day from Monday to Thursday and 5 patients on Fridays, with sessions scheduled every 45 minutes. Occasional double bookings may occur to accommodate patient requests, but Medicare patients will never be double booked. This position involves a 1:1 patient ratio for effective therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and assess patient progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting.
• South Carolina or Multi State Compact Physical Therapist License (to be obtained prior to start).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• First-time travelers are accepted if they meet the experience criteria.
