Outpatient Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday - Friday: M 8-5, T 8-4, W 8-4, Th 8-5, F 8-2:30. No weekends required.

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist will work in a dynamic outpatient clinic setting, providing therapy services primarily to adult patients with various neuromuscular conditions. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to determine needs.
• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual patient goals.
• Administer therapy interventions utilizing comprehensive rehabilitation techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient therapy preferred.
• Valid South Carolina PT license or multistate compact license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with neuro conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and post-stroke rehabilitation is preferred.
