Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for working as a clinic RN, maintaining clinic flow for patients and providers. The RN will serve as nursing coverage in the clinic, assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures as directed by the provider, within the scope of their professional license.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and treatment procedures.
• Manage clinic flow to ensure efficient patient care.
• Perform patient assessments and document care provided.
• Coordinate phone communication with patients and provide necessary information.
• Work effectively as a team member to enhance patient experience.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited RN program or LPN/CMA (Certified Medical Assistant).
• Current license in the state of Iowa.
• 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required; certification within three months of hire date.

Schedule

This is a Days position, providing 40 guaranteed hours per week.
