3x12.0 Shift: Day/Eve/Night, Weekends, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, Charge per Unit Needs 36 or 48 hours!

Job Description

The Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for the provision of competent care based on established standards. This role involves clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence-based practice. The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent care to patients based on established standards.
• Assume expanded roles including charge nurse and preceptor.
• Participate in committees and contribute to service excellence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of Med Surg experience required.
• Telemetry experience required.
• NYS RN license is mandatory.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required.
• NIHSS certification required.
