Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend and on-call for holidays as needed.

Job Description

Join a dynamic Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse. Operate in a Level I Trauma Center, providing critical care and support to a diverse patient population. Work collaboratively with medical teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in an emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, managing patients with various acute conditions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate timely and effective patient evaluation and treatment.
• Assist in trauma and critical care procedures, utilizing advanced nursing practices.
• Monitor patients under telemetry and manage complex care needs.
• Provide patient and family education on health management and emergency care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or equivalent setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS preferred.
• Registered Nurse license valid in the relevant state.
• Trauma Level I experience preferred.
• First-time travelers are not accepted.
