Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift: 18:45 - 07:15, 3x12 hour shifts with weekend coverage every other week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, performing patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires floating to other units based on needs and skill set.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with a variety of diagnoses including Stroke/TIA, Seizure, Syncope, and more.
• Maintaining staffing ratios of 1:6 during night shifts.
• Administer medications through the Omnicell system.
• Perform procedures such as continuous bladder irrigation and peritoneal dialysis.
• Engage in high-quality patient experiences and maintain communication with families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar nursing role.
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is required.
