Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

The position offers a flexible schedule of 5x8s or 4x10s, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. Shifts will run either from 07:00 to 15:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 for the 8-hour shifts, and 07:00 to 17:00 for the 10-hour shifts.

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the field of radiation therapy. The primary focus will be on the accurate delivery of radiation treatment to patients, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients following prescribed protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during treatments.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and participate in patient care discussions.
• Perform quality assurance checks to maintain safety standards.
• Educate patients and families about treatment procedures and expected outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment administration accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
• Certification: ARRT (T) and BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
