Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments. This role includes the ability to work independently, adhering to physician's orders, standards of care, and hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families.
• Perform health assessments and monitor patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• A valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the United States.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR) within 6 months of hire.
• National Institutes of Health (NIH) NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale must be completed within 6 months of hire.
