Electrophysiology Technician

Schedule

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:30).

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technician will work in an EP lab and be responsible for assisting with cardiac procedures, including but not limited to cardiac ablation, mapping, and device insertion. This role may require floating to various facilities within a 20-mile radius as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures in a sterile environment.
• Assist in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and support cardiac procedures.
• Maintain the sterile field during procedures and follow isolation precautions.
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment relevant to electrophysiology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of EP lab experience required; candidates with Cath, IR, and EP experience preferred.
• RCVT preferred; AHA or Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RCIS certification is also preferred.
• Must be nicotine-free with a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required.
