Job Description

The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing emergencies. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department with exposure to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress and any changes in condition.
• Assist in treating a variety of emergency conditions, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac events.
• Be prepared to float to different areas within the department as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active NY RN License
• AHA Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• EMR experience, specifically with EPIC
• 2+ years of ED nursing experience with pediatric knowledge
• Documented travel nursing experience
