Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our Maternal Infant Unit. The nurse will provide high-quality care to laboring women, delivering newborns, and assisting in postpartum care. The unit consists of a total of 24 beds and is equipped with advanced fetal monitoring technologies and electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage labor and delivery processes for patients.
• Conduct vaginal deliveries and assist with C-sections.
• Provide care to antepartum patients and newborns.
• Support postpartum patients through recovery.
• Monitor fetal health and maternal status using GE fetal monitors.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Preferred experience in high birth volume Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification.
