Perioperative Nurse

Job Description

The Perioperative Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care throughout the perioperative period. This role encompasses the ability to scrub, circulate, and work in the recovery room as needed. Effective communication with other members of the perioperative team is essential, alongside maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and supporting the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care during the perioperative period.
• Scrub and circulate surgical procedures as required.
• Assist in the recovery room, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Communicate effectively with perioperative team members.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational values.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• CNOR certification preferred.
• Covid-19 vaccination is required.

Schedule

This position is for Day shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
