Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Travel Med Surg RN to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the medical staff within a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical-surgical unit and be prepared to handle various nursing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Performing patient assessments and developing care plans.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitoring patient progress and providing education about health management.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care in the electronic medical records system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• ACLS certification (pending is acceptable if obtained prior to start)
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records
• Permanent address must be 50+ miles from the facility
