Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires expertise in various surgical specialties, including but not limited to cardiothoracic, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, and robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients' needs during the perioperative period.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Prior OR experience is essential, with advanced skills in the required specialties.
