Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a night shift schedule of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on stroke and neuro patients. The role requires the management of telemetry and various patient care tasks in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and perform nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient telemetry and respond to changes in condition.
• Manage feeding tubes and administer blood products.
• Provide care for central and peripheral lines, including PICC line management.
• Implement isolation precautions and wound care management.
• Collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry or a related field is required.
• Candidate must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance.
