Day shift, primarily 5 x 8-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM.

Job Description

Immediate openings for Surgical Services RNs with experience in an acute care facility. The role involves working in various surgical specialties, including Orthopedics, Urology, ENT, and more. The selected candidates will be expected to float between the main OR and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients preoperatively and monitoring postoperative recovery.
• Administering medication and assisting during surgical procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
• Documenting patient care and surgical outcomes accurately.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid California RN license (pending licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Documented references from the past three years.
• Willingness to work during weekends and major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
