Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the CVOR unit is responsible for the observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care for all patients. The RN must be proficient in charting, multi-tasking, and possess critical thinking skills along with an excellent bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care in the CVOR setting.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment including Impella, ECMO, Bypass pump, and Laser for lead extraction.
• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing and assist in all surgical specialties except CVOR.
• Participate in on-call rotations as necessary based on staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of current experience in an acute OR setting.
• Ability to scrub and be proficient in all service lines.
