Night shift - 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with Level II Nursery experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will work nights and float between multiple hospitals as needed. You will be responsible for the care of low acuity newborns and assisting in providing comprehensive care to support parents during their stay.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for newborns, including assessment and monitoring of vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate parents on newborn care and discharge instructions.
• Conduct assessments for hypoglycemia, thermoregulation, and other newborn conditions.
• Support breastfeeding and manage lactation resources.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level II Nursery.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications are required.
• Must have a valid NJ or compact RN license.
• Travel experience is preferred but not required.
