Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery department. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during their labor and delivery journey. The ideal candidate will be proficient in monitoring fetal heart rates and essential nursing skills in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care during labor and delivery.
• Monitor and assess fetal and maternal conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Participate in the delivery of newborns and provide initial care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient safety and care.
• Educate patients and families on prenatal and postpartum care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license for the state of Texas.
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certificate.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
