PET Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 5 days a week with 8-hour shifts, varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM, and ending times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Weekend work may be required if needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified PET Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing PET-CT scans on patients and will be responsible for ensuring quality imaging and patient safety. This role requires an approved radiation badge, which must be provided by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET-CT scans and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment with attention to detail and compliance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic health record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PET-CT imaging.
• Certification required: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R)/(CT), and a SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography.
• Experience with Siemens imaging equipment is preferred.
