Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care Unit. This unit consists of 44 beds with a highly collaborative team of 95 staff members, including Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. The ideal candidate will be focused on providing patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform neuro and spinal checks.
• Assist with C-Collar placement and TLSO braces.
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pump, and IV infusions.
• Care for lumbar drains and feeding tube placements.
• Administer blood transfusions as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Strongly preferred: Neuro and Trauma Care experience.
