Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for the Pre-Op unit. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing various pre-operative procedures. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with a team of medical professionals to ensure a safe and efficient preoperative experience for patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments and prepare patients for their surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patients during the pre-op phase.
• Provide patient education and support to families regarding the surgical process.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth operations.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to any immediate concerns.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Pre-Op RN hospital experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Some pre-op experience preferred; candidates with Meditech experience are prioritized.
