Respiratory Therapist - Nights Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care services to patients. This role requires clinical expertise in administering respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, managing ventilatory support, and delivering patient education related to respiratory health.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patients’ respiratory status.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
• Document care and treatments accurately in patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Respiratory Therapist license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
• Experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
