MedSurg RN - Day Shift

4x12 Hour Shifts, Days (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

The MedSurg RN will provide care for patients in a 12-bed general medical surgical unit. The nurse will manage typical adult med-surg diagnoses and be part of a team providing interdisciplinary support for patient care needs. Ratios include 1:6-7, with flexibility for increased ratios due to staffing dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Assist in the management of telemetry and other required operations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Epic charting system experience required.
