Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in acute care ICU nursing with experience in managing a variety of complex cases. This role involves providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
• Perform essential procedures including intubations and central line placements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care ICU hospital experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with medical ICU and neuro population preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR is advantageous.
