Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Night Shift

Schedule

Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will have critical care experience and a passion for patient advocacy. This role involves delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and adapting to the fast-paced environment of the ICU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment such as IABP, Impella, and ventilators.
• Perform essential procedures including rapid sequence intubation and EVD insertions.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, including the use of vasopressors and IV sedation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license and BLS, ACLS certification are required.
• NIH certification with critical care experience is mandatory.
• Preferred skills include trauma credentials (TNCC, CATN, TCAR) and post-op cardiac surgery experience.
