Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Schedule

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. On-call requirements are not applicable.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department. The position involves working in a Free Standing Emergency Department, providing exceptional care to patients with various medical needs. This role requires collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies.
• Perform essential emergency procedures such as IV starts and 12 lead EKGs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using EMR systems (Meditech).
• Float between multiple facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Experience in a Free Standing Emergency Department or Emergency Room is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
