This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our Acute Rehabilitation Unit. The ideal candidate will be open to new graduates and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. This role involves evaluating and treating patients with diverse diagnoses, including strokes, hip fractures, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and more.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine patients' needs and establish treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• Assist in patient education and rehabilitation techniques.
• Float to evaluate and treat med-surg and ICU patients as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Open to new graduates.
