Registered Nurse - Level I Trauma Center

Schedule

This is a night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekends and holidays may be required. The contract is for 13 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a Level I Trauma Center. The RN will work in a fast-paced environment and is expected to have expertise in managing complex medical situations and trauma cases. The role includes direct patient care, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the trauma unit.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a trauma or emergency setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is heavily preferred.
• Candidates must have the ability to care for COVID patients and work in a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility.
