Days, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with call required for after-hours and weekend rotation.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services for both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures including CT of head, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities.
• Conduct basic radiographic procedures and fluoroscopy.
• Handle portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in processing of CT systems and knowledge of studies with or without contrast media.
• Maintain surgical/sterile procedures and ensure daily equipment QC.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 3+ years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) certification mandatory.
• New Mexico general radiographer license and CT New Mexico temp, or permanent license required.
