Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses for our Float Pool, responsible for providing nursing care in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Stepdown units. The role requires flexibility to float between various units while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patients’ conditions in MedSurg, Telemetry, and Stepdown units.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in patient and family education and support.
• Document patient assessments and care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications are required for Tele/Stepdown nursing.
• Previous experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing preferred.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and float between units.
