Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (Contract Position)

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, with no on-call requirements. Requires 4 weekend shifts scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. As a level 4 designated maternal center, we care for the most complex patients at any gestation. The ideal candidate will have experience with high-risk maternal patients and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during labor and delivery, including vaginal and cesarean section deliveries.
• Assist with procedures such as tubal ligations, cerclage placement and removal, D&C, and C-hyst.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse team including charge nurses, surgical techs, and support staff.
• Monitor patient vitals and adjust care plans as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, particularly with high-risk maternal patients.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Prior experience as a circulating nurse in an operating room and triage is a plus.
