Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and encouraging Travel RN for our Med/Surg unit. The successful candidate will provide quality care to patients in a 36-bed Medical Trauma unit. Join a dedicated team that is committed to excellence in patient care and will support you through your travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to patients with acute medical and surgical conditions.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on care processes and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EMR system (Meditech).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Med/Surg hospital experience required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• Experience with pre- and post-op inpatient care is preferred.
• Familiarity with wound care and management of central lines (PICC, port, CVC) is a plus.
