This position requires night shifts, specifically from 17:45 to 06:15. Weekly hours are guaranteed at 36.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care across a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics. You will utilize advanced equipment and techniques to manage patients with various respiratory illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications as per physician’s orders.
• Conduct ABG collection and analysis, ensuring accurate results for patient monitoring.
• Operate and manage ventilators and non-invasive ventilation (NIV) equipment.
• Provide critical care to patients with conditions such as COPD, CHF, diabetes, and pneumoconiosis.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess a valid Virginia State License as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT).
• AHA BLS certification is required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in a respiratory therapy setting is required.
