CT Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified CT Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing CT scans with precision and care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This is a position requiring proficiency in trauma scanning and experience in a teaching facility.

Schedule

This position is a 10-hour evening shift, with a requirement of working a minimum of every other weekend. The schedule will be adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as per protocol, including trauma cases independently.
• Provide patient care with a focus on safety and comfort.
• Start PIVs as required for patient procedures.
• Ensure all work history information, including bed count and facility type, is accurately documented.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to meet patient care needs effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification required; state licensure must be applied for at the time of the offer.
• Experience with Phillips equipment preferred.
• Proven experience in a similar sized teaching facility.
• Recent EPIC experience (within the last 2 years) is mandatory.
