Medical Laboratory Technologist / Scientist

Schedule

8-hour evening shift from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, working 5 days a week.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty. The selected candidate will work in a busy laboratory environment, handling a wide variety of complex samples and ensuring accurate test results.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Sysmex and CellaVision systems effectively in a high-volume hospital laboratory.
• Perform differential counts and accurately analyze complex samples including turbid specimens and abnormal cell findings.
• Work collaboratively within a large team to manage a busy laboratory setting, particularly in neonatal units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Previous experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems.
• Certification required: ASCP, AMT, or AAB.
• Candidates must be a Medical Laboratory Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist; Med Lab Technicians will not be considered.
