Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Unit (Night Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 12-hour shifts (07:00 PM - 07:30 AM). Per Diem for 3 shifts a month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit will provide care to patients experiencing mental health challenges. This position requires delivering compassionate and patient-centered nursing care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient care needs and develop appropriate care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or attestation of vaccination/declination.
• Current personal health requirements: COVID-19 vaccine, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, TB test, Tdap, and Varicella.
• Driver's License/State ID.
