Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift is 8 hours, varied, including weekends and holidays. Candidate must be flexible as there is no guarantee of hours or shift preference.

Job Description

The RN will work in a Long Term Care facility on the site of a hospital, performing a variety of nursing duties. Candidates must hold an active State of Hawaii license by the start of the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assessments and treatments
• Medication administration
• Notification to MD/NP of pertinent information
• Admitting and discharging patients
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Gastrostomy Tube care
• Urinary Catheter care
• Nebulized treatments
• Wound Vac care
• CPAP care
• Tracheostomy care
• Other assigned duties as needed

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Must arrive the Thursday before the start to attend the employee health appointment on Friday. Candidates must have a Hawaii License by the start date.
