Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiac Care Center

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a rotating shift schedule of 12 hours, including day, evening, and night shifts, with on-call and callback responsibilities.

Job Description

The Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC) provides comprehensive, state-of-the-art diagnosis, medical/surgical treatment, and long-term follow-up care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. The nursing staff is specially trained to care for patients with the most complex and rare congenital cardiac disorders, making the PCCC the only specialized pediatric cardiac care center in Western NY.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) License (New York only)
• Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association)
