Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse

This position is a night shift from 19:00 to 07:00.

Job Description

The Neonatal Intensive Care Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to NICU patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The NICU registered nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to NICU patients according to established protocols.
• Demonstrate leadership by delegating patient care priorities.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Prior travel experience preferred.
• Current certifications: Vent, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
